Welcome to the Coming of Vines | |
Young professional Lillie has prided herself on living close to the vest. All of Lillie’s life has led her to this outcome, or so she thinks. |

| About Bonnie Lanese |
October skies in Florida seem to know when winter is coming. Orange and reds splash over the fading light and hold you fixed until you stand in complete darkness. The colors have no rhythm or intent, much like a blotter towel for a justifiably starving artist whose discards were better than his work. When I was younger, I would spend days waiting for the dusk, these were my Fall colors. |

Bonnie Lanese is a poet and educator, and she has lived in Florida for more than 30 years. She has come to appreciate the diversity of an area that many people think of as simple beach bars and hotels. |
